What happens if the weather is extremely poor?
Our games are weather-resistant and can handle short bursts of rain or light rain, however if the weather is extremely poor we will look at setting up in a more sheltered area or indoors if your venue allows. If this isn't possible, we may, at our discretion, allow you to cancel within 4 weeks of your event date; please see our cancellation terms in our terms and conditions for more information.
My venue is more than 20 miles from Ashford, Kent. How much extra is the mileage surcharge?
If your venue is further than 20 miles from Ashford, Kent (TN23 postcode), our small, reasonable surcharge of 50p per mile applies for every mile over 20 miles for both delivery and collection. For example, if your venue was 25 miles away, the surcharge would be £2.50 each way (£5.00 total). Please see our terms and conditions for more information.
When do you arrive, set-up and collect?
We will arrive and set-up at a time convenient for you, typically in the morning of your wedding, long before your guests arrive. Your venue must be ready for us to arrive and set-up at the time you have agreed with us. Collection is usually always the next day unless agreed with ourselves otherwise; this allows you and your guests to enjoy our games long into the evening.
How does payment work?
To secure your booking, we require a £50 non-refundable deposit (which goes towards your total package cost) and a £50 refundable damage deposit. Your remaining balance is due four weeks before your hire date.
Can I upgrade my package after booking?
Yes! You can upgrade your package (e.g. add more games) up to two weeks before your event, depending on availability. The price difference will be invoiced separately.
What happens if I want to cancel my booking?
More than 4 weeks before: no further payment is needed. You’ll be refunded your damage deposit, but not the booking fee.
Less than 4 weeks before: you’ll still be charged the full amount. If poor weather makes set-up impossible and no indoor/sheltered alternative is available, we may allow a cancellation less than 4 weeks without charging the full balance, at our discretion. The £50 booking fee remains non-refundable, but the £50 damage deposit will be refunded.
